Its been interesting reading some posters "Dreamings" about which younger players should be playing seniors.
Seems to me some posters just want to fast track players without really concidering
- the long term development
-ability to cope with senior football
-Physical development
of younger players, with many mentioning Hughes & Limbach. The selection committee obviously belief these guys still need conciderable game time at the lower levels with both having stints with the Burger 2's.
Melbourne have had great output this year from Bate & Dunn both players had a full year of VFL development before getting there chance. It may well be similar for Hughes and Limbach.
We have had great success this year blooding new players but a player must deserve his selection on form. We should patiently await the development of these players.
