So many great players bowing out this season.
It's been some time since there was such an exodus of big names leaving the game.
Today Pickett, Bizzell & Chris Johnson(Bris) joined the queue headed by Hird, Riccuito, Buckley, Archer etc.
I started a thread last week mocking his farewell when they played against us but for me James Hird is simply one of the best opposition players I have had the pleasure of watching play football.
Essendon were lucky to have him and he's a big reason for their sustained successes.
Skill, leadership, courage the list goes on...
Likewise Roo & Archer. The type of players that make players around them walk taller.
Well done on great careers to these guys and those others bowing out. 8)
