Player vs Car

mcmahon more of a hyundai imo

small, overpriced and soft

I'll give you one thing I(throw)stoneZ, you revel in your darkness. The season hasn't even begun and your bagging McMahon, even though his boot is yet to touch the ball in a H&A game.

You have to laugh at Tiga chikk saying Barinas are small with a touch of class.

I can see where Tiga Chikk would be coming from. As a first car for teenage girls a Barina has a touch of class compared to what they'd get in a bigger car for similar money.

Tivendale : Leyland Marina

That was my first car. I saved up and bought it myself. Contrary to rumours it was comfortable, reliable and never missed a beat. I think it's a very apt description for Tiv going on posts on this forum. Is bagged cos of reputation rather than actual performance, but like my little car, he always does what he's there for.

Tambling - Toyota Celica - all show and no go
McMahon - Holden Barina - over inflated price for the mediocrity that lurks behind the badge
Moore - ain't no GT Falcon, more like a Fiesta XR4 - the beginning of the end for the XR nameplate
Richo - Phase III GTHO - raw, unrefined, but no more potent weapon exists in the Tiger Armoury
Deledio - Toyota F1 - all the resources and potential in the world, promises so much, but what has actually been delivered?
JON - Bugatti Veyron - lots of teething troubles but hopefully the end justifies the means
Cleve - Honda CR-V - please don't take me off road or I'll fall apart
King - Toyota HiLux - the original Action Utility Vehicle
Connors - Dodge Viper - don't mess with this
Tuck - XF Falcon ute - no frills, but keeps going and gets the job done

:clap

Best description I ever heard was "looks like it is doing 100mph when standing still".

If you've watched him play so many games at the Doggies when do you get the time to follow the Tiges?
You didn't just follow him over from the west so you could hang *smile* on him did you? You little closet bulldog you.

I don't know about that. It is much more roomy and comfy in the back seat of a bigger car. Of course, a Barina probably has more class than a Sandman for teenage girls, although I can't say I was ever an expert on the subject (dammit!)

I liken Schulz more to the Leyland P76. Great expectation but never delivered.
Have to agree. Jay = Leyland P38...... only half the car we were promised he would be.

Prove us wrong in 2008 Shulzy :o

yeh because its impossible to watch any other footy on a weekend other than richmond games ::)

Whitnall would be a big fat Cadi from the 70's.

Massive unit.

Burns through food like no tomorrow.

Has the turning circle of a sherman tank.

Was a choice automobile in its day, but now is falling apart and can only be bought at outer suburban car yards.

Is expected to spend the rest of its days sitting on blocks in a Broady front yard.

OK, technically not a player...

Wallace - Holden Monaro - brought back from the graveyard with a gushing fanfare of feel good press. Eventually the public woke up and realised they were paying twice the price of what it was worth and the axe fell.
