Gidday guys,
Just dropping in from Saintsational to see if you guys would be interested in playing a game of forum footy.
I know in the past we have had a few hassles that have led to the games not going ahead, such as time restraints etc, but this time we should be able to get it going as we have way over a month to get it off the ground.
If you guys want to make it a different date thats fine, but bare in mind the Bombers play Carlton on October 29.
For those unfamiliar with the concept I will go through it again.
These games are played at Glenferrie Oval and usually consist of 4 25 minute quarters.
They are designed for a bit of fun, a good social get together for fans to just have a kick, meet some fellow forumites and enjoy a good days entertaintment.
Anyone is welcome to play, no discrimination on size, age or gender.
If you are keen to play chuck your name down in this thread, or even if you just want to watch come along as its a good chance to meet some of your fellow posters.
In terms of attire, bring a jumper if you have it, if not a yellow or black shirt should suffice.
Footy boots are optional as the ground is usually fairly firm.
Plenty of water and sunscreen is a must also.
We have an umpire on our forum who is unbiased, however if you like you can provide one too. lol.
Any questions just chuck them in here. otherwise put your name down and come along as these days are great fun.
There is a barbeque area at the Aquatic centre behind glenferrie oval, and after most games we go back there and have a feed with a few beers, so we welcome you along to this as well.
