Dan Hannebery. What a disaster that recruitment was, seems everyone saw this coming but the Saints.
Was a crazy decision. It was obvious Hanneberry haf serious injury concerns. Spun the wheel and lost big time.

Paddy Ryder.

Its not been linked anywhere, but I reckon the Saints might be in for Grundy. Hill to go to North for around a 3rd, and Saints will fill those $'s in their cap with Grundy.

Not in the media anywhere (and I have no inside knowledge) but it certainly wouldn't surprise me. The Saints want to play a clearance game and when they don't have both Ryder and Marshall they suck so will want to replace Ryder with someone good.

Just remembered this thread. Continue into this season.

Bud has finally pulled the pin. Effective immediately with no final game....bit sad.

This is a strong memory for me coz it matches with when I joined this forum 19 years ago and also the Lids/Tambo or Bud/Roughy debates.

Just goes to show the absolute incompetence of the AFL HO media...
Says Buddy came out of the 2005 Draft.... Wrong!

Geez....19 years.....talk about time passing. We fade to grey.

Well done Bud. Great career. Feel sorry for the Dorks a bit as it could've been with them more.

Achieved the premiership, 2nd with the Hawks and according to Hodgey left on good terms with the club.
Played out that 13 season and gave his all.
Was hard to knock back $10 mil over 9 years.
His wife was from Sydney too!

Now in retirement she will turn the Budweiser into a career modelling .

Congratulations on an incredible career Buddy. At his peak there were few to compare him to. Great to watch when he was on fire. All the best in whatever you turn your hand to in retirement
