Kelvin Moore has to break out of the losing mould, 17 games for 16 losses
9 games in 2004 0-9
6 games in 2005 1-5
2 games in 2006 0-2
The only win being R21 2005 so 13 losses than a win, then 3 more losses
So break out of the losing rut Tiges

This raises an interesting point, we are all judging Moore on his performances in basically a losing side. Moore being a spare parts man is played both back and forward, so in his losing matches he could have been starved of delivery in the forward line or bombarded under a barrage of opposition inside 50s when in the back line.

Let's see how he goes in a side that is not only winning the odd game, but also doing it on the back of a functioning mid field.

If he's worrying about the runner, he's not approaching the game the right way. Worry about that while you are on the pine.  Jackson needs to make an impact on the ground or he's in his last year in yellow & black imo.  I reckon blaming short spells on the ground is a cop out.

He's not blaming short spells on the ground, one poster suggested it as an excuse but IMO it has absolutely no impact on his game.

When you are standing in front of 30,000 people and you know you've got about 10 minutes to prove yourself before being inevitably taken off the ground, then you will make your time count.

Play kelvin Moore in his natural position. In the BACKLINE

Agree with that. He looks comfortable there and has the pace to keep up with forwards on the lead.

I've looked through the thread and mine is the only post I saw mentioning Dan on and off the bench. I certainly didn't "suggest it as an excuse" . Which post were you referring to?

Look I agree. IMO the most required feature of a backman (particularly a Key position backman) is closing speed to make the spoil even after the monster forward pushes you out of position to get that extra pace or two.
