PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

I am curious to hear opinions on who's going to have breakout seasons this year.

Some of my thoughts.

Daniel Jackson - from what I saw of him at training he now has a physique reminded me of Jason Dunstall which made me think that he could convert over to be a FF. I also think that this position is a 'relativley' easy one to play if you have the physical tools (JD may disagree). Given that he has not had a traditional AFL background, doubly makes me think that this really could be a good option for him.

I have less faith in him fitting in to other positions on the field, but I still rate him as a good chance to break out this year regardless. I don't expect he will ever be a dominant AFL player, but a serviceable one who plays another five years or so.

Cleve Hughes - I have no expectations for him until next season (irrespective of him playing a number of games this last year.) I wouldn't be surprised if Jack plays in more senior games this year, though they may wind up having very similar careers.
