Having to witness every week Richmond playing like they do, I want the club to walk away this season with a first draft pick.

Wooden spoon= First Draft Pick.

but who will they beat?

Essendon? Melbourne? Collingwood?

Please Carlton win one for Us... :-\
 
Only game Blues are likely to win is against the Demons.Great result for them yesterday,competitive but didn't win.
 
The way the Bluescum played yesterday I think theyre a chance against the Pies next week.
 
I'm not too worried bout us getting the no. 1 pick

It's more about Carlscum not getting 2 picks in the top 4

Hard to see them not beating up on Melbourne but they are a wierd mob. At one point Fev has a quad which will keep him out for 3 to 4 weeks and the next moment he is out there dobbing them from 70.

Go figure that.
 
Barring injury Neitz is due to play his 300th game against the Pies in round 21.
Hopefully the Dees beat the Pies for Neitz as they will be fired up for that one.

That will get the Dees to 4 wins. They will hoefully lose to the Scum in round 22 keeping them at 4 wins getting Carlton to 5 and handing us the number 1 draft pick.

All easier said than done but these scenarios are not that far fetched.

Good things happen to Carlton = I feel >:(

Bad things happen to Carlton = I feel ;D

Carlton want draft pick 1 = Carlton must lose

Carlton lose = Carlton is ;D

Carlton ;D = Me is >:(

Carlton lose = Me is >:(

Carlton win ONCE = Me is ;D

I'd rather Carlscum get a draw rather than win though. Wouldn't that be enough?
 
Rd 22 Melbourne will want to lose against Carlton. Because a win would mean they get 3rd pick instead of 2nd pick.

But I'm clutching at straws.

But a draw would both keep the ladder positions as they are AND Carlscum would lose the priority draft pick. This benefits everyone. except Carlscum ;D

A horrific thought hit me hard yesterday.
Not only do Carlton get a chance to get the best player in the National Draft for three years running if they get no more points.
Not only do we become the first wooden spoon side to not get the first pick
But this could happen again! If they don't get any more points they are in line to get yet another priority pick before the draft again next year if they go just as badly which seeing how badly the second half of their season is, is entirely possible.

The only difference is that next year when we get another spoon and our priority pick before the draft, they won't gazump us.
