I want to see Global Financial Crisis hit our media stocks. If Richmond win the next two, there will be a great reduction in sporting reporters. OUr unemployment rate will hit over 10%. This may cause further financial institutions to collapse or government to come up with new rescue packages to bail out these media institutions.
On the one hand Packer may be tempted to repurchase Channel nine on the cheap. It’s not a pretty sight and it will affect the livelihoods of almost everyone in the media.
Would we see old video re runs, heck, even Grant Thomas may be recalled at half price.
