Polak as permanent Ruck?

I have an idea that once Riewoldt comes into the team Polak is out. I cannot see what his position is (like Jason Cloke) because he hasn't the height or weight for a ruck and he is not mobile enough for a key position. The future looks bleak for him
That's a very pessimistic view BBC. He's one of very few players we have with a bit of size who can actually play back, forward and in the ruck. He's a very good mark, can compete when the ball goes to ground, and can kick a goal. Sure his goalkicking needs more consistency but that can also be said for all but 2-3 of our players. He looks fitter and stronger than last year when he was way underdone. I also liked the way he stood over and kicked Fev around just as the toe-rag deserved. Signs of mongrel are emerging >:D

In summary I reckon we have a Ray Hall Mark II on our hands. A taller, wider-bodied version more able to stand up to the rough-and-tumble of modern AFL. Not the answer as a KPP but 3rd option in all three of our back, ruck and forward divisions............ capable of supporting the KPP's we do have.

I agree with the comparison to Cloke- plays more as a spare defender who can go third up in a contest. Not sure if he can stop the better players playing one-on-one. however, will still be handy to have while others develop. We may be wishing for a bit much hoping that Cleve can hold down CHF and Schulz hold down CHB this year.
