Polak threads [Merged]

Ok a aging Treadrea is the best possible match up for him but he was great on Saturday.

I never like his suspicious habit of becoming a bit slower when it was time to back into a pack, but on the weekend he was like a tin man who found his heart, he showed no fear all game and was prepared to gut run when others had stopped.

Polak had a nice hitout today kicking 2 for Coburg in 3/4 of football. Continues to improve.
Raises a few questions.
1) Even though most people realisitcally doubt he can come back and make any impact at AFL level, they would have to be couragoeus to put him on the LTIL now which means he could not play at all! His "better than expected" pre-season may hurt our small forward options early in the year as it probably will stop Nahas from being elevated.
2) Is there going to be a better place for a FWD to get his confidence back than at Coburg this year. Assuming a regular run of injuries, that team will be stacked with AFL players. It will be interesting to see how some of the talls perform in the seniors after kicking 8 every week at Coburg in 20 goal wins.

That is great news, going by that form you would think that he is a chance to play again maybe in the 2nd half of the year if he continues to improve with every match.
