There's more to football than age though DDT and there's no guarantee all of our kids will live up to expectations. Some people seem to think because we have a young list we'll be premiers when they develop. There are heaps of other factors to come into consideration. I can't accept the age of our players as a reason for 157 point floggings and I can't accept age as the reason the core senior and leadership groups have been singled out by the coaches for letting us down.

OK, injuries

Cogs, brown, Simmo, (and then Knobel) Gaspar's 'retirement' hall

Don't know. I taped the Adelaide game because I was so disappointed in the Port game. Just finished watching the Adelaide game on today and saw some much better signs. I don't want to watch a team that is completely uncompetitive, like that against Port and Geelong.

Still not going anywhere so will have to have as much patience as it takes. Have no other choice

god we have waited this long whats another few years to see the some light at the end of the tunnel....

mind you anymore performances like the cats debacle and my patience and many others will be wearing thin i would imagine....

all we want is a team of goers....god have a look at the pies today havent rated them at all but at least they represent their jumper with some dignity....or pride for that matter.....

its the senior blokes that i have had a gutfull of....

I have plenty of patience.

Much of it will depend on the outcome of Nov/Dec 2007.

At this point it has been a long time since I've seen so many good "ultra-talls" all available in the one draft.

In no particular order:

Simpson 207 R MB
Renton 200 R ER
Sullivan 202 R WJ
Fieschi 200 R OC
Putt 202 R CC
Mulligan 201 R Q
Kreuzer 199 RF NK
Bellchambers 199 R T
Connelly 198 R GP
McEvoy 198 R MB
Natanui 198 R WA
Gaertner 197 D DS
Henderson 196 F GF
Notte 195 F WA
Wundke 195 RF SA
Westcott 196 D DS
Boumann 196 D DS
Lobbe 197 RF ER
Tarrant 196 F BP

Of course, some are better than others, but I've listed 19 players. There are others too.

If we can't come out with at least 3-4 of these, considering the number of other players in the draft, then my patience may very well be tested.

It aint gonna happen. Wallace would have blood on the walls before he let it anywhere near that. Despite what some people think, he is not a tanned spud.

I think he's been patient while we've been playing really good teams; he won't be patient if we don't start winning against bottom 8 teams. Whoever is injured.

I beleive we have definatly some of the best youngsters in the league and perhaps they arent getting the support they need from the more experienced tigers. Some of those young guys ran and ran all night and carved up alot of the crows attacking options over and over again. We may struggle for a couple of years but it will change as these kids turn into senior players. So we have to have patience we have no other option .

Renton looks like a nice height, to me

Natanui missed the cut-off for this draft by two days. It's amazing that Carlton's recruiting head says he would have taken Natanui over Kreuzer this year. Probably the only truthful thing to come out of Princes Park this year.

Well they've got their prize and are unlikely to tank again next year. :P

I read that and thought why would u say that its like saying to ur number 1 pic in Kruezer that hey this other ruckman is better than u, a bit of a slap in the face i reckon.

Yeh, interesting to revisit 6 months later.

Not a bad list for back in May. We got one of them. A good one too.
Maybe room for another two as rookies.

Probably add John Shaw, 197/8 SD R/D, & Stefan Martin, 198, Sand (VFL) R, to that list as well.

Anyone know where I can get some chicken poo?

Oh hang on guys relax, imagine it is the year 2011. :hihi :hihi

This is wallet's vision of 2011 :cupgold :cupgold
