Port supporters are FERAL!!!

We flew over for the game also and had our first AAMI stadium experience! :O)

We sat up the Cheer squad end in the right forward pocket and saw the Port suporters stirring up the cheer squad 20 metres away from us and security seemed to be right onto them.

On the most part we found port supporters ok to us personally but lots of ferals and bogans around though!!!! Most port supporters stared at us all day wandering around the stadium in our Richmond gear like they had never seen a Victorian before, but all in all nobody was rude to us.

We loved going to the game and doing the roadtrip and even won $190 at the Adelaide Casino!

Will def go back for another Richmond roadtrip and wouldnt mind doing a Melbourne Victory roadtrip to Hindmarsh also! Fun!

I went to AAMI last year when we beat them and had no problems at all. The thing I noticed was that they were very quick to turn on their own players (Danyle 'Pearce was a scapegoat) and their thought that the Victorian umpires were cheating. They didn't stir up me and my mates and we were pretty vocal throughout the day.

I guess every team has their wanker supporters.

It was the second time I've been to Adelaide for a game. The last time was a few years back vs Adelaide which we also lost.

I'd go again to a Port game because you don't have to stay in the seat allocated by Ticketmaster.

Surrounded by Port ferals (generally all pretty polite but noisy and ignorant of the rules of the game) I moved into spare seats behind the cheer squad at 1/4 time. The Adelaide game had been a sellout and it would have been harder to do this then.

The ground security staff did a good job. As soon as the siren went I was disappointed (to put it mildly) but out of there as quick as I could so I didn't have to listen to their lousy song. I missed the kerfuffle after the game and got the first bus back to the hotel.
