Positive vibes from the game

jacks mark was special but something made i even more special

can anyone guess what it was?

It was against a bloke that Collingwood took earlier than him in the draft?

On going to ground he didn't have a brain fade and try to handball to a ruckman jogging past him backwards?

I know a man who would do that...

Can anyone guess who it is?
It's what makes him so special as well.

Jack and Lids are normally pretty reliable kicks for goal, so I think they won't miss like that in the real season?
Just blowing out the cobwebs. Both took great marks under pressure.

i am a bit sick of the negative posts about last nights game, so i thought id talk about my positives

Losing to a side coached by Malthouse would be a positive: TW & the coaching staff would have learnt something from the game ;)

graham has clearly sown up the 2nd ruck spot.

Thompson looked very good.

Riewoldt will be a grade.

Cousins has alot of a grade football still left in him

Actually I think there is heaps to get excited about. Our midfield has simply been smashing the opposition in both games at the stoppages and out of the centre. I think we won the I50's last night, certainly to 3/4 time. Once Wallace stops experimenting and puts a proper midfield set-up with some better field kicks included, we will start to see results. As the season progresses the skills in general will sharpen up. If you don't believe me go watch some of the games we won towards the end of last season, noone was calling us unskilled then. Another thing to keep in mind is how the NAB rules make flooding tactics much more effective.

I mean, really, we were the better side for nearly three quarters out there last night - against a full strength finals contender. Plenty to get excited about.
