I've been searching for positives from today .... and it's been an exhaustive search I can tell you.
But I think Hughes certainly looks a keeper and potentially the CHF we've been craving for a long time. With a big summer in the gym and the rest of this season's games under his belt, he may just make some significant strides in 08.
In closing (maybe it's the scotch talking but I needed it to get through that match!) may I quote the great Muhammad Ali who wrote poetry as his response to dealing with profound dyslexia ...
"Every great work, every major accomplishment
Was brought into being through holding the vision
And often, just before the accomplishment comes apparent failure and disappointment,
For the greatest achievement in life is not in never failing,
But in rising again when you fall."
I'll be interested in seeing if we can rise in coming weeks.
