AH......stop it there! SORRY.......Can't trust you mate - The Swans comment about being over-rated then resulted in you overating some of the names of RFC samples thrown up.

Polak - plays loose - not a good indicator of his year, he has had a licence.

Jackson - not convinced, he has decent time also.

Pattison - good track worker but at best is a 2nd ruckman;s stable mate.

VFL comp is crap - if you get excited about that then you are desperate for good signs, which nobody can blame you for but hardly
a barometer for success.
I think you are on the wrong thread.

Pretty sure I aint.

Coburg playing finals and hopefully win the bloody thing.

Dont mention that to Paul Gough. Although he may have changed his tune on the importance of Coburg in relation to the development of the RFC.

Gary March saying on 3AW that things will turn around quickly next year! 8)

The greatest positive from the year for me is the total discrediting of the rubbish from Wallace that the game was changing and speed was the primary if not only requirement.

In 2005 my attitude was that we would not see success till 2015.
Five years of Wallace recruiting like the Dogs, with no KPP or even enough strong bodies.
Change the coach in 2010 and start recruiting strong, athletic skilled players and then wait while they developed over the next five years.

The myth of Miller as a great recruiter has been exposed and the administration is moving in the correct direction.
The myth of Wallace as a visionary has been exposed and he must now go closer to the classic player models of the past (ie strong motivated skillful).

So my positive is that we are now not shallowing the spin.
We are aware of the costs in terms of money, time and effort required for a solid rebuild not a short term fix and are prepared to pay that price.

I am very happy to say that the current CEO and president seem to have done a good job, despite my doubts on March.

We are the club and expect better from our servants.
