Positives yes there are a few.

Look at the stats for the game. We had posession 52% to their 48%. We beat them in contested posessions. Connors is and will be a sensational player. The only thing we need is more games and more kilos on the kids. Believe it or not we are not that far off.

Hopefully the club turned a small corner today in terms of mindset for the future.

This club has "turned more corners" than a flatworm in a maze this year.

Was at the game and though it didn't show on the scoreboard, I thought today showed a substantial improvement on the past three weeks. We didn't fall away as badly and there were some small things in the last quarter that give me cause to think we a realistic chance of winning next week's game, e.g. players encouraging each other after goals with genuine enthusiasm despite being 60-70 points down, and Jake King burying an opponent who'd already disposed of the ball just before the siren. Hopefully the club turned a small corner today in terms of mindset for the future.
i agree ltr,it was fantastic seeing king bury his opponent right on the siren.and edwards and connors will be the future.but i was pissed off with tivendud and bling laughing with the opposition after the siren.namely bling.would like to see him hurt a bit more after an average game.

I've been impressed with the development of Pattison this year.

The poor kid was throw into the thick of things and he is a better player for it. Certainly big improvement.

If we didnt have so many injuries to our bigmen, he may have only played a handful of games. It's certainly fast tracked Pattos development.

Another positive that occurs to me is that our younger players are not looking burnt out like they usually do at this time of the season.

Hopefully they are getting used to the game at top level, fitness wise.
