Positives

2 positives for me:

1) I did not break anything at home and;
2) My neighbours were away and thus nobody complained about excessive noise.

as above, but i did get a yellow card from the wife, i didn't realise it was that easy to clear the coffee table

Mine almost ended up through the window

2 +'ves I reckon

1. The umpire heard the siren and stopped the game at the end.
2. Pattos game. He's a mobile fella, really covered some ground. Also swatted a few opponents off the ball pretty easily a couple of times. i reckon hes gonna be big(ger), mobile, strong and smart. :) ;D ;D

Sh!t, I can't even claim no 1. Plus I'm nursing a very sore hand from punching a brick wall.

I am now the proud owner of a new dent in the plasterboard behind the tele ;D

Positive: another umpiring blooper for the DVD I'm compiling.

I laughed so hard when Pettifer gave away another free for kicking the ball. Last time it was for kicking off the ground towards the goals, but apparently deliberately out of bounds.

This time it was for high contact when a Hawk threw himself across the P-man's boot as he delivered to a lead in the pocket.

Very funny ump! :rotfl

I'm going to make a fortune from sales of my DVD. :beer

Have to agree that was an absolute disgrace, but not nearly as disgraceful as how badly we played all day.

I reckon we would be able to think of more positives if the team didn't have the yips in front of goal.

But I guess bad kicking is bad football

Of course bad kicking is bad football.Been saying this till I'm blue in the face.

Hopefully the positive to come out of this game is the wake up call that we need to concentrate this upcoming drafts picks on well rounded footballers. Not players with sinlge attributes.Footballers.

Good example of type I'm talking about played against us yesterday.Jordan Lewis.

You think? The thing that struck me about Lewis yesterday is that he's a bit slow. Also looks to have one of those bodies that won't get a lot bigger. But I do see what you mean about not having some glaring skill flaw. Still, it would have been hard to argue picking Lewis ahead of the hawks in that draft.
