Positivies on Collingwood match!

4. We need someone else to decide match-ups. Every week seems to be a clear mis-match, especially in defence, that causes grief. Whoever is currently deciding match-ups hasn't got it.

That's the one that screams. Brian Royal is the 'Director of Coaching', you'd imagine he was largely responsible.
Has there ever been an instance where an assistant coach has got the flick mid season??

Considering our record with slow starts I wonder why Johnno elected to go against the breeze when he won the toss? (Asusming reports on chRex were accurate and that did in fact happen.)
He is making it a bit of habit going the wrong way lately ;D

This is another example of stupidity IMHO. How the hell can an assistant coach be the director or Coaching. What the ^%&% is the Senior Coach doing. Maybe time for Terry to put his hands back on the steering wheel. Sounds like something Grant Thomas would come up with.

the backline was solid
newmans running was good
king outstanding
midfield clearances good
from the back 50 to the centre we were ok when we HAD the ball

going into 50 we were *smile*, our fwds dont lead at the right time, dont lead to the right spots and dont play in front, they dont chase dont work together and dont apply pressure

when we dont have the ball we dont mann up we are slow to read whats going on

we need a foacl target in the fwd line that presents to the same spot all the time, in the corridor at or inside 50, richo cant do it as he is everywhere so it must be Patto or Simmons
We need Hughes or Riewoldt at FFWd
White provides the run and chase

get brown and richo out of the fwd line

my team would be

B: King Thursty Moore
HB: Sanchez *smile* Bowden
C: Newman Foley Tambling
HF: Richo Patto Tuck
F: White Hughes Morton
R: Simmons Deledio Brown

I: Riewoldt Johnson Jackson Edwards/Connors

The senior coach is out looking for the latest in solarium technology.

My video only recorded the second half for some reason, so I think I have a different view than if I’d been gutted by seeing the first half. I actually thought we matched the pies ok, the major problem being poor kicking leading to punishing turnovers and missed opportunities in front of goal. I thought McMahon did alright, and saw Pettifer lay in a very decent shepherd.
