One advantage many other teams have over us is being able to train on a full-size oval with no *smile* cricket pitch in the middle. Thank god the Craigieburn oval will be ready next year? I cannot understate how big an advantage it is being able to run uncompromised, full length drills on an oval akin to that you will play on in match day. Imagine the Australian cricket team training on synthetic wickets? Geelong have a particular advantage with an egg-shaped ground.

just another excuse we can use to justify that we are the softest team in the comp

what do you think about arden street, doesnt stop the kangas?

Not an excuse Tango .. we are what we are. That said, if it is not a factor we might as well save the rent and train at Kevin Bartlett Reserve? If you belive it is not an issue then you might want to blockade the Craigieburn development.

They go on the cricket pitch anyway.
Shouldnt make a difference its barely any of the ground and they train at Vic Park and Gosh's more than punt road anyway.
