In short, Sydney is the best club for Clem to develop his game, despite the occasional brilliance and fierce attack on the ball he can be prone to the odd shank or two which can really detract from his positive contributions. Sydney believes that with a couple of years of tough love Clem can become a dangerous utility in the mould of Byron Pickett. It was a little concerning that Smith recorded some poor endurance results at the combine however it was later discovered that his testing may have been affected by a back complaint that he sustained in the lead up.
