I propose a 'Falling Star' award. Only criteria is that nominated players must have been rated as a ‘star’ at some point in their career, and thus be highly paid.

My nominations

Woewodin 5
Leppitch 4
Francou 3
Whitnall 2
Camperealli 1

5. Ottens
4. Woewoden
3. Whitnall
2. Bizzell
1. J. Rawlings

Honorable mentions to J. Cloke, C. Cloke and Ty Zantuck who have fallen but were never stars to begin with.

Holland doesn't count because he's actually gone, finished, kaput. Zantuck as you say BBC was never rated by anyone as a star. Apart from that I like the nominations.

5 - McKernan
4 - Woewodin
3 - Headland
2 - Farmer
1 - Whitnall

5-LLoyd-Now you know what Richo had to put up with. The biggest difference is Richo got out of his comfort zone.
4-Ottens-keep on keeping on
3-Fevola-No work ethic.
2-Whitnall-Just one lazy bastid
1-Rawlings-Never was a star however for the price the Doggies paid its fair to say they got ripped off.

5. Redford, getting out argued by lamby these days
4. Evo, tennis tips have been atrocius
3. CptJonno2Madcow2005, forever tipping upcoming Richmond radio interviews that don't eventuate
2. The Boss, for tipping Hilton's delisting when those in the know are aware of Hilton's impending 4 year deal
1. Dyer'ere, for actively promoting the recruitment of Josh Wooden, Mark Bolton and Mark Alvey

Initially I thought this was a falling star award for PRE’enders themselves (i.e. a reverse award to PRE’ender of the month) and was prepared to vote:

5. Ridley
4. Bubbletown
3. Evo
2. Forcesnips
1. JB03

But seeing as it is about AFL players, I’ll go:

Michael Gardiner
Dean Solomon
Scott Camporeale
Jeff Farmer
Steven King
David Neitz
Jason Saddington

I did not pick the Big Donut because he was never a star to begin with.

4. Tinseltown
3. embitious (aka Cheese eater or Hiltonhater)
2. Evanopapadimitriopopolovskianaris (otherwise known as 'evo' )
1. Skipper (worse than the connex timetable)

5: McLeod - looks more interested than last year, but not much. However Adelaide can afford to carry him.

4. Wanganeen

3. Scott Burns - love the way he plays but his years probably been worse than Woey's.

2. Hird - genuine superstar but injuries have caught up to him.

1. Primus - he looks totally gone now.

PS. last year I would have put Archer at the top of this list and look what he's done this year ::)

5 - tarrent
4 - lespich
3 - woey
2 - voss
1 - lloyd
honourably mention to crawford and headland
