PRE in the news!!

I just copied what was published in the H/S willo. They'd have to add extra pages if they quoted the posts in their entirity. You can easily search for the quote to read their full context.

It's the Tigers of old, and Tiger fans of old

Geez I'm copping a bagging around here lately, despite not being attributed to any of those posts. ;D

I guess some people just aren't old enough to remember the good times of this footy club.
26 years in the football wilderness will do that. :old

After a bad defeat and remember the headlines for most papers was undertrength Saints whip full strength Tigers it is certainly easy to pick out feral posts on this site. Regrardless, I thought this was supposed to be a good site because feral or otherwise there is a fair proportion of informed opinions which are expressed.

I must admit to glossing past the rabid posts looking for those which provide a bit of insight.

Yep I read the h/s Rosy. Reckon they could have done the whole thread tho ;D
Are they allowed access? Thought we may have the copyright. Tell em to pay up for "our" material ;D

They don't need to ask permission geoffry, especially when they've credited the source. We use things from the HeraldSun, always posting a link, and they're welcome to use our stuff. Their journos ring me occasionally for comments on how we feel about certain things and I've never been misquoted or had things I didn't want made public mentioned.

I thought it was pretty funny. At least it got the club in the news. Something no one else connected with the club seemed to be able to do.

Rosy were all of us on PRE under the same constraints as the club? You know under the radar, spotlight elsewhere, let our footy do the talking, get respect back from the football community?
If so, sorry to break the "curfew" ;D

If I'm not careful people on here will think I'm turning.
That's two negative posts in the H/Sun in a week ;D

All open sessions here willo. Spread the passion and sign up members.

Watch out premiers...it didn't take them long to wear you down. Reach for the light. 8)

Don't worry rosy. I watched it again on Fox today and didn't think we were as bad as when I saw it live.
So the lights still shining ;)

Considering some of the stuff spewing out to PRE from cyberspace since Friday night i reckon The Pulse went a bit soft - I see what you mean Rosy ;)

You're a brave person P08. I don't think that I could watch it again.

I've always considered myself to be a Brightsider, but I may have to turn. I've always wanted to be a published writer.

Actually so did I and I thought the same. At the game it looked bad, but on TV I came away a bit more upbeat.

good for you too Cam - my thoughts when I watched it were that we didnt do too bad with the team we put in - there are avenues for improvement as well so we should stay a little upbeat - at least until we see what happens throughout the season proper. I think you will be pleasantly surprised by the team this year! My take is that the Saints are going to be a top 4 side this year and although they had a few players out - they also had some premiership players as their replacements! Its all relative and not as bad as we may have thought initially. I would be lying if I said I was not a littel worried on the night but the more I thought about it the better I felt. How many teams actually do well in the NAB cup (only Carlstink and look where it got them) ........ :gotigers
