Im a Golf Pro, and in every single lesson I give, I stress to the student the importance of having a pre shot routine.

Grip
Posture
Pivot
Ball position
Stance....

Every single shot, shot after shot after shot........then shot after shot after shot.....until it becomes natural behaviour, cos under pressure you always have a solid correct routine to go to.
So it shouldnt matter if Tiger Woods stood and watched you, you'd repeat a correct action, again and again.

So please someone tell me why this happens:

Jack has a set shot, he goes back steady's walks in, I watch him take 1,2,3,4,5,6 steps and kick....miss
Jack has another set shot, this time he walks in, I watch him take, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,(I say to myself he's gonna miss), 10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19 kicks and misses.
Jack has shot in 3rd quarter walks in, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 and misses

Richo 1st quarter...has set shot, walks in 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 misses
Richo with another shot 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10, gets it.
Richo 3rd quarter 1,2,3,4,5 steps misses

What Im trying to say is that without a PRE SHOT rouine that is the bloody same EVERY SINGLE TIME you will get an inconsistant result.

Jack went 6 steps
19 steps
10 steps

Richo went 7 steps
10 steps
5 steps

This needs to be addressed.......URGENTLY

I feel like offerring my services to them if they want, but geez it drives me crazy....

You've got to drill the correct sequence, and do it again, again, and again......
