Exactly. TW said at the time that we needed to rebuild our midfield and that's why we drafted Lids & Bling.

Judd could be a magical full forward but he's a superior onballer. Ditto Deledio. I really hope this Deledio as full forward crap stops.

By not having Richo there it opens up the options we have where sides can not simply flood the middle.

No but we should certainly consider using him as an impact player off the bench.

We're damned if we do damned if we don't. They'll never play him permanently in the back-half. Our best option is to train a midfield that isn't Richo-centric. The other forwards also need to demand the ball if they're in better possies. Polak recruited as a CHB was a stuff up, he'll be better up forward as another big target. He also doesn't seem to suffer from 'get-out-of-richo's way' syndrome.

Lids will be a gun mid given time

Problem with Lids last night is that he should have been rotated into the middle more. They seemed to leave him forward permanently. I don't mind him starting there but he has to be rotated into the midfield. Tambling is also at the point where he should be given more responsibility and we forget about using players like Tivendale, Hyde and Tuck as starting midfielders.
