Sorry but team 6 is the best side by far.
One of the great fullbacks and great running backs.

Now which team has Simon Black, (4 AA's plus Brownlow) C Brown, (AA, runner up B and F) Cousins, (5 AA's plus Brownlow) Foley, (runner up B and F ) Hadley, Jake King, M Murphy, Rodan, Simpson, and Sewell (Hawks B and F),-- to get the ball down to Jonathon Brown.(AA) Mmmmm.
As the Cats look like being out of the summer league because they were too good, !!!
My early picks were based on best available with an emphasis on skill and footy nous, which in the was a bit silly as I ignored taking Scarlett or Ottens with either pick 16/17 but then this was just before the last two finals.
I think my side is not too bad well skilled, run from defence, several options as goalkickers and rotating midfielders.
It does rely on Simmonds and Thompson to get back to their 2006 form.
Midfield is okay maybe lacks some depth, Shirley would be nominal run with player with Polo as an option as well, Priddis and Hodge give the grunt. I pronanly lack some speed but I think it is well skilled with Dal Santo, Swallow, Burgoyne, Mcleod, Porpylzia and at a pinch Slattery to run through there.
Watt is the big gorilla to play all the talls, will struggle and will need the help of Brett Jones but after the first 2-3 fb in the competition there isn't much difference, so this pick was a late option but will be servicable. Bock is a good CHB that can play forward and Brett Jones got top 6 I think in Best & Fairest. Drummond, McLeod and Johncock give good drive and skill out of backline with Polo, Guerra and Slattery other options.
If Thompson plays like 2006 the forward line is ok, will also need a fit Mark Williams and Boyle to provide a good marking at CHF like he did this year, Burgoyne and Davis are dangerous forwards and Swallow and Hodge can rotate with Hodge capable of pinch hitting at FF. Bock can also go forward if neccessaryand Dunn is the reserve tall forward who looks a likely type. In the ruck is Simmonds and Ryder, I thought of Cameron Cloke as last pick but went with Slattery, I may some developing rucks in my players 25-40!!!. Ryder gives me a few options to play back or reserve ruck in this squad of 25.
Overall its not too bad hopefully I would have some developing talls as depth players 25-40 that would be good players in 2-3 years time
