Not a lot to report about my two boys at this early stage so this will be short and sweet. :hearton

There have been posts questioning whether Mark's op has reared it's ugly head again and I'd like to put people's minds at rest there.

Cogs has a very slight hamstring strain.  He's completely over the op, and in fact has more flexibility now than he did pre-op.  A bit of rest for the hammy and he'll be back into it again, fitter than he's been for years.

There are whispers around the traps that my other player, Matthew White, might just get his first run in the yellow and black this week.

If that's the case Eat 'Em Alive Matty.....Your Richmond barracking father and grandfather will be so proud you've got the opportunity every Tiger supporter dreams of.  Congratulations on an outstanding pre-season.  Selection would definitely be reward for effort. :clap

Thank god for that. Would it be too much to ask if we could get through a season with our best players able to spend the majority of time out on the park.

Please, no more serious injuries this year. I still have nightmares when i think of Browny's leg.

Hamstring injuries are not good news except I can't help feeling relieved to hear of this one. If Cogs can get back to his 02 03 form and I have no doubt he will if he can steer clear of injury, then ..we will make the 8. Its that important. ;)

Thanks Rosy, good to hear that he has completely recovered from op.

Expect Cogs to be rested this week and possibly even the week after.

I for one am so excited about seeing Matt White play this sat, bring it on!

Cogs is $81 for Brownlow Rosy and has polled well in the past.
If we get on a roll and his amongst it he may be a bit value.

Might be worth a dollar or two mk. Easy money. ;D Can we back him to be the highest Brownlow finishing Tiger as well?

Well done on your selection Matthew. Congrats also to Jeremy Humm and Cam Howatt who I think will play as well.

Go the youth brigade. :clap :clap :clap

we have had few injuries over the last few yrs. you will know we have a good side when we can win games with injuries to our better players.atm it only takes 1 0r 2 of the bettewr players to go down and we are buggered.

Looking forward to a 30+ game form Whitey on Sat.
May it be the 1st of many for the Tigers.
give the kid a break as long as he competes and makes a contribution should be enough.

Agree claw

4 kicks 1 handball 2 marks 1 goal.
Good to see the young man give a go at the death when the game was up for grabs. Shame he could not come off a winner.
But he has taken the first small steps on a long road to become agreat player for the Tigers.
