We knew he had something when we signed him for 2017 and during that season he has OK although limited by a poor pre season. Since then however he just gets better and better every game and now rightly one of our prized players and one of the best in the league. Against Carlton he was simply sublime in his play and vision. Love the guy

Took a while to get established due to injury for sure but don't forget his 2017 finals performances were second only to Dusty.

Has come good has Dion showing what he showed early doors.

Had to get him over his damage from the GCS.how bad were they going up there with their management of injuries?

Same with Tommy Lynch, Jaeger O Meara, Harley Bennell, Gary Ablett Jnr, and others.

Raises the question.

Who are we rescuing from there next?

Last 2 years he has been outstanding.
Since coming over,
67 games
Average possessions 25
B&F in a premiership season.
Better then can't kick Adams and rubber legs Treloar.
Where are the clowns who said "no way is he worth pick 6?"
Barrott and lyon....

Josh Toy?

IIRC it was reported that Josh had a heart condition from memory it was reported he had arrhythmia either Atrial Fibrillation or actually might've been an Atrioventricular Block or Heart Block of which there various degrees of severity which don't allow the heart to beat fast enough to allow for exertion as the electrical system or wiring in the heart that is needed to fire the heart properly does not work in the normal way.
The most severe form of heart block requires a pacemaker.

I dont recall mention of youngt Josh being that unwell or that serious but certainly his affliction disallowed him from playing footy again or so it was reported.

Watching that game again, he wasn't 100% fit.
Prestia is known for his constant runs and repeat efforts.
He struggled all night to get to the contest and his kicking was shocking.
Hardwick has a history of playing players not right. Im 100% convinced Prestia wasn't right.

And we know why...a lot been written about his football skills but he just does not have the mental and physical toughness or confidence to play at the highest level. Even if he got stuck into the weights to build his strength and confidence to take the hard knocks, I'm not sure it would help. Some people are more suited to basketball or tennis than the demands of football. Risking personal injury in a contact sport played against strong, fast men is not everyone's correct career choice.
Gee I'm glad we have enough great Tigers that chose to do it.

Of those you've mentioned I reckon his lack of confidence was the main obstacle.
