With the bye the week after I wouldn't risk Prestia, Optsus Stadium is a soft tissue graveyard.

There's nothing wrong with Prestia. They didn't even bother to pretend to have a scan. It was about giving Dan a run and wasn't Marlion keen to get him a goal.

Optsus Stadium is a soft tissue graveyard.
Watching the game on the weekend, it reminded me very much of the early years of Colonial fried chicken, Not happy Jan, Eddiehead, Marvelarse stadium.
Ground surface was like a handful of grass clippings on top of a sand pit, absolute *smile* for the players.

Very very happy with this.
AFL have no professional credibility. Remember this rule was brought in one day pre season.
Very happy RFC have seen fit to use this rule to advantage.
Well and truly time we forged out ahead of their nonsense and played the game to suit our needs.
We have been passive and polite to them till recently...gets us nowhere.
We do not need to kow tow to bullies..we are strong and powerful.
Prestia is integral to finals success.

It was about time we got on board every other side had done it.

Carlton did it with Silvagni multiple times in the first 3 games

I'd have loved it if we had said Dion subbed off with

'just a bit of racial awareness'

maybe he had tightness, and then they realised it just tightness

No need to risk him if any doubt .

Is a major concern the number of soft tissue injuries he's getting. Understand the need to get him right but we need him playing.
My feeling is this is pirely management, we have confidence in our depth, meaning we dont need to risk playing him in this circumstance. If it was a final with 2 or 3 games remaining I think it would be a no brainer, he plays.

Agree, and 2 games in a row at a ground that has a (short) history of soft tissue and foot injuries is a real concern too. I'll be be happy if we get through the game unscathed.
