Not one to consider myself a brightsider, nor a darksider, but a recent spontaneous look at the pro-stats rankings for 2008 left me feeling very positive for 2009.
Have a look yourself, but in summary, number 2 overall in the prowess total stats score after Geelong, and top 5 in many of the most important stats, like kicking, marking (number1), handballs, total disposals (number 2), and goals.
There are clearly a few areas to work on, tackles, first possesions and clearances come to mind, but on those figures alone I think I will actually for the first time in years, hold off on booking my September holidays until well into the season.
