Just had a little look at the ladders from the last few seasons and can see how this 9th is better than the other 9ths we have produced in the last few years.
2006 - 86.15% (9th)
2005 - 92.33% (12th)
2004 - 69.24% (16th)
2003 - 88.84% (13th)
2008 - 97.38 (9th)
i think this shows that we are now being more competitive in the games we have been mauled in the past. Hawthorn, 1st game against geelong, st kilda, bulldogs....all teams in the top 4, we put a good show and could arguably won all of these games. Plenty to look forward to in the years to come as we will continue to improve with the more game time these kids get.
I didnt go far enough back to find the last time we had a % of above 100 but i can only imagine it was 2001.
I would say it would be a dissapointing year if we dont make the finals next season
