PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

Big wheel just keep on turnin, was just thinkin how much our list has changed in recent years and the good thing is mainly through the Draft
2003
Pick 21 Gilmour-gone
pick 37 Roach- was back in the seniors and making rapid improvment till injured
pick 53 Jacko-Playing in and out of the ones but dominating at Coburg and plenty to like about the boy as continues to improve
pick 64 Morro-gone
pick 70 Hartigan-keeps geeting better and now pretty much cemented a spot in the 22,real leader too
pick 73 Tucky-Gun 3rd in B an F and hasnt dropped of at all
pick 76 Raines-lock him in, another cemented in the 22
pick79-81 gone
Out of the 9 picks in that draft 4 have moved on and the other 5 have all made there senior debut and 3 are cemented in the seniors.
Also picked up Axe that year and he also looks to be finding his feet at senior level
2004
1 Lids-what needs to be said
4 Bling-Has some doubters out there but seems to be answering more questions each week,I like the boy
12 Meyer-Has done well at senior level already and is definatly learning to work harder down at the Burgers,All in the know say he will be a player.
16 Pato- another who has already played at the top level and is starting to dominate at Vfl level,I think he Cleve and Jay will compliment each other in the forward line in years to come.
20 Polo-Sensational senior debut shows he can do it just has to keep doing it.
36 mcguane-Big improver over the summer may or may not debut this year but once he puts the beef on will hopefully make the grade, like Pato starting to have a big influence down at Coburg
52 Limbach-The only other who has not debuted at this stage but as a genuine FF has a few boys keeping out but if he keeps up what hes been doing latley his chance will come.
68 Graham- gone but what a great influence he was to young Wil and the boys
Rookie draft -WIL more then just played seniors was looking like a future AA
2005
8 JON-seniors already
24 Cleve -as above and already having an impact
40 Cassa-Till injured was the favorite to debut first
PSD White-debut at the Nab cup and did allright playing well at the Burg and im sure wouldnt be that far from the selectors minds.
Humm also has played seniors coming of the rookie list.
So of the 22 players drafted in recent years(not including last years rookies) 4 have gone ,1 retired and of the 17 who are left 14 have made there debuts and the other 3 ,well too are tall skinny kids and the other has been injued.Of what we have drafted there seems to be a lot of certain 100 gamers rather then ones with a line through them already. :gotigers
