I thought seeing not everyone reads the papers I'd type out this bit about Chaff that was in the HeraldSun today.
It shows that every now and again stats do tell a story.
Chaff must be in the top few in the b&f voting this year. He's doing everything the club could wish from him.
MARK CHAFFEY
After 8 rounds, Richmond has the least points against of any team and Mark Chaffey, with his sure hands and crisp disposal, can take a lot of credit for his work in the backline.
On Saturday night he collected 125 ranking points against the Demons, his highest tally this season.
Of his 16 kicks, 15 were to the Tigers' advantage, with 5 of his 10 long bombs resulting in an uncontested Tiger posession.
In the defensive 50m he had 9 disposals, 4 marks, 6 rebounds and 5 handball receives to earn 78 points.
Running through the midfield, he had 8 disposals, received 3 handballs, took 5 marks and sent Richmond into attack 4 times to earn 41 points.
In the forward 50m he scored a behind from 45 m out.
There are three Tigers in the top 30 player rankings in the HS.
Cogs is 11th, from 10th spot from the previous week.
Staff is 21st from 33rd last week.
Tivva is 24th from 26th last week.
