Forgive me tigers for I have sinned. I'm going to lay myself bare. I backed the crows to win. i know i know its a disgrace but I backed them to win by less than 39 points. My rationale being that we would do what we did after the dogs flogging and be competitive and go down to the crows in a gallant defeat. the odds were $2.60 and id been having a win lately and so I had $100 on it. BUT, thats why we won. Ive never bet against the the tigers in my ENTIRE life and it was Malcom Blights footy gods teaching me a lesson. So it was $100 well spent. Next impossible game, I'll call for donations and back the opposition again.

With a winning record like that, itl only cost you another $1400 to get the Tiges into the finals this year - keep up the good work by golly!

I'm also ashamed to admit that when it came to my footy tipping for the round...i said a prayer to God to forgive me for my sins, and selected Adelaide. And I got exactly what I deserved! :-[

but who cares, we won.

I only ever tip against the Tiges when I genuinely feel we have absolutely no chance - and I mean NO chance (E.g. St.Kilda, WCE, Sydney this year and now I have to confess Adelaide).

First time in many a long year I have tipped against us and we've won. Probably would have gone for us at the G.

Well On Friday I posted that we would win and to get on them at some massive JUICY ODDS.......

Get in the QUEUE boys ........... It's PAY DAY !!!!!!!

My nutcase brother laid $100 on the tiges at $5.90 - Bastard!!!! :hihi But I'm happy to take the win of course

I've only got one tip wrong this round. Guess which one?!?! Serves my pessimistic heart right I suppose.

TG picked us but I like many others wimped it. Luckily I was there to watch it and sing out loud while TG had to work. From the size of the crowd and the Crowbaits support I would say most of us fickle supporters had to work yesterday as well.
The dump holds about 52000 when full and they claim a crowd of 24000, they must have all been hiding in the bars. I guess when they count all the empty permanently reserved seats as a patron they might get close but it looked near empty to me.

Certainly very quiet there before the game, and lots of Crows supporters there looking for a certain win, but by the end, I reckon the noise factor was like a 50,000 strong crowd of Tiger supporters. ;D

Take a look at the AFL betting thread in the general section.

My expertise tipped The Bulldogs for the win,Geelong at the line and Adelaide by over 39pts.

Guess my good punting isn't just limited to the horses.
