PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

Next year i hope and believe our side may take a new shape, players being played in different positions, more simplistic game plan, one or both of our draft picks playing football, some players from the coburg list cementing a spot in the 22 and finally Brett Deleido going up another notch to possibly signal his status as a star of this club.

Where though do we play him?

Towards the end he showed just what a class act he is playing deep forward and kicking goals.

But in the middle he showed he did struggle to shake off a tag. He needs to build up his fitness to an unbelievable level to be able to gut bust his opponent and run him into the ground.

Wish we had another one or two Deleido's but we have the one , so where is he suited or more importantly where do we play him to best benefit our club going forward in the future.

I think he will eventually be a leader (captain) of our club.

So my question is full forward

Centre

Wing

Or a combination of all three where suited, depending on match ups etc.

I see him as a 70+ a season goal kicker next year if he were to play as a permanent forward but he could be anything if he is prepared to work harder and put in more work in the gym, working on his fitness and his defensive game.

Along with a even fitter Brown(another pre season under his belt) we could have a dangerous combination.

What do we all think?

Thanks
