Questions for Queenland Tigers or anybody in the know.

I'm not planning to leave Vic in the near future but I am curious about the Main Event games. Do you have to book and pay extra for them like the boxing matches they have?

No...they turn it on for free to NSW/QLD and ACT subscribers..very generous.

Welcome to Sin City mate...The friday night game is on late but Fox will usually show it live on Main Event. Sat arvo will generally be live on 10 (if it's a 10 game). Sat night game is live on 10, unless Fox have the Lions on a Sat night in which case 10 show this live but usually Fox will show the 10 game on Main Event. Sunday arvo is generally live on 7 (unless we get shafted by the rev heads and their V8s). We also sometimes get shafted on Sun arvo if the Lions are playing and it is a Fox game, for some reason Main Event don't show the channel 7 game, meaning we wait for the replay at around 8:30pm.

Thanks for that, BrisTiger. Sounds like I only need worry about coverage when there's a potential clash with the Lions game. Not ideal, but at least I should get most games. My only other concern is apparently my building here in BrisVegas is only wired for satellite, so hopefully I don't miss out on the Main Event channel.

Shouldn't matter TO,

I'm further north on the Fraser Coast and have satellite Austar.

I get exactly the same channels as Foxtel. Main Event won't be a problem.

In my opinion, Qld viewers with pay TV, were the big winners out of the last TV rights deal.

You should expect to get at least 7 live matches a week with the main event agreement.

I think we got just about every Tiger match live last year, although I did fly down for a few so that may be clouding my memory.

Anyway, welcome to paradise.

Ahhh...the Norman...best steaks in the world.

For those outside of Brisbane, the Norman's slogan is "Brisbane's worst vegetarian restaurant".

It's about time I joined the QLD supporters club...might go along.
