Questions for Tiv, Hartigan, Krak's and Cleve

I'd be interested to know ...
* What are Cleve's ambitions for this season?
* What position is Tiv aiming to play in this season?

For Cleve: Will he be playing down back at Coburg for most of the year if he isn't in the senior side?
For Harts: Where does he see himself cementing a position in the seniors? And if playing for Coburg would he prefer to spend most of his time in the midfield?
For the other boys: How are the newbies settling in? And more specifically, how is Peterson settling in and does he have a nickname yet>
Actually ask about all the new blokes nicknames please.

Cheers. :beer

For Krak;
Where does he see his role this year and what specific aspects of his game does he think he needs to improve on.

Had a great night friday.
Didnt get a real chance to "interview" the players but got some info out of them.

Harts: Was sad to see Rodan go, he said that he really struggled after busting his knee. Looking at a flank
role in 2007 in the seniors and a midfield role at Coburg. Was getting a lot of attention from a group of young girls. He is a lot smaller then I thought he was too. I hope he has a stunning 07.

Tiv: Really nice guy. Didnt have to much to say about footy. Still gets back to R.O.C to watch some of his mates there and has a cousin Shaun playing there.

Cleve: He is huge now! Is looking at playing a CHB or CHF role. Has been training in defense and thinks this could help his forward game by knowing how he will be defended. Also got a lot of lady attention, he is one good looking Tiger.

Krak's: Was very quiet all night, seemed very tired. Talked about how big of a commitment AFL is and how little time they get off. Tried to explain PRE to him. I'm not sure if he knows how to turn a PC on. Really wants to contribute more in 07. Wants a midfield role and a few more goals.

Also met Cameron Morris from sponsorship. Is an Essendon supporter but seemed to be able to hold a conversation. He talked about Richmond as good "product" which was strange. Was stoked to get Rebok onboard and there is a lot more merchandise to be released early 07. I think everyone had Motorola's on our table to which he was happy about. Said all the players get a phone provided to them. The redevolpment of Punt Rd is not going to get underway until at least the end of next year. They are looking a getting a new sponsor on board for the 100 year celebrations.

None of the new guys have nickname's yet except "Polly".
Hadnt really had much to do with them yet. Talked about having there "initiation" soon.
Basically jumping in the boxing ring and copping a flogging from the big blokes.
I hope they dont break Peterson in half.

Thanks to everyone to came on the night. Had skybeau and his dad on our table. Top bloke's.

Top stuff!!! Krak really does concern me. He sounds like he's really struggling.. You have to wonder whether he's got the desire.

Was there any talk about Kingsley blackandyellowmatt?

Yeah I did ask Tiv's about Kent. Said he is fitting in really well and is a big unit.
Would like to see him come on board and think he could help out the club a lot.

Just a waiting game now.......

I can't work out what this bloke's problem is.

Everytime I notice his facial expressions on the field, even after we win, he always looks depressed.  First I thought it was because of his dad in jail, but since Jim was released, Krak still comes across in the same way.  Even when Frawley kept on hugging him (as if he was his own kid) after a win, Krak just showed no positive emotion at all.

Reading your words BAYM, it sounds like Krakouer wants things given to him instead of making it for himself.
I really think 2007 is definately his make or break year.

Dont encourage Krak to read PRE. It would end his career.

:hihi :hihi :hihi

You forgot to mention, matt, that our team (aptly named Dyer-Tribe) ended up tanking for draft picks...sorry, the group of CD's for last place, in true Richmond tradition (well, maybe not tanking...playing the young kids... ;) ).

But yeah, like BAYM says, it was a great night. Unlike BYAM though, I didn't get a chance to talk to the players...we kinda bolted once the night was over...but Cleve is definitely looking good. Krak was on the table next to us and did seem a little quiet, from what I noticed. Cameron Morris, the sponsorship guy on our table, was excellent, really good to talk to and really interesting to listen to as well. Like BYAM, it was strange to hear him speak of Richmond as a product, rather than a entity, but that's the way he would see it, I guess.

Not all sports people have the same demeanor. Early in Steve Waugh's career for Australia I always used to think that he came accross poorly and grumpy but he was a star. Can't think of any other examples at the moment because it is 40 f ing degrees but the point is don't judge a book by its cover. I too have my doubts about Krak but don't mistake a laid back and forthright appearance with a lacksidasical attitude.

Cmon, wasn't he about 6th in the best and fairest?

He's a quality player with random decision glitches. Great to watch and then out of nowhere does something horrific. Either way he does his job and he does it well - fact. ;)

give it up benny, these guys have it in for tiv and krak.

Mountains of words have expired ever since the dawn of PRE.

Little sniggling remarks, personal attacks, loose judgements you name it, its happened. They've already started on this very thread.

Wouldnt surprise me one iota if this thread gets hijacked.
