Quiz with a prize for the winner

Answers below:

1. How many disposals did Richmond have and which was the only club that had more.
The Tiges had 8283 disposals with only Geelong bettering us.

2. Of all the Tiges that registered a score, who didn't miss (that is goals only)? And there were two other Tiges that registered only the one behind. Who were they?
Cartledge kicked 1.0, Pattison 6.1 and Tuck 10.1.

3. We were quite poor with centre bounce hitouts to advantage. Sydney and Carlton were worse with 43 and 39 hitouts to advantage respectively. How many did Richmond get?
The Tiges had 46 centre bounce hitouts to advantage.

4. Who was interchanged the most often and how many times?
Tuck, 127 times. Tambling with 118 and pattison with 117 were next.

5. Who spent the most time on the ground?
Kel Moore, with 2545 minutes (96.9% of total game time). Deledio and Newman were next.

6. When match up disposals are considered, which Richmond player had the best disposal difference, ie. more disposals than their immediate opponents?
Brett Deledio had 164 more disposals than his immediate matchup. Next was Bowden with 150.

7. We all love Richo. Against who did he have the best match up disposal difference in a match? By that I mean, against which player did he have his best purple patch?
I love Richo, but I'm sorry this question is next to impossible to answer. From what I have, I noticed that the big man had a purple patch against Trent Notting in round 17 where he had 14 disposals and 11 marks in 37 minutes. On the other hand, Bock gave Richo a bath in round 19 for the 41 minutes they were matched up.

8. Which Tiger had the most 1%s and how many (blocks, smothers, spoils, knock ons etc.)?
Chris Newman with 156, Moore with 155, Foley with 151 and Deledio with 146.

9. Who had the most inside 50s and what was the scoreboard impact?
Brett Deledio had 91 inside 50s, resulting in 23 goals 15 behinds. Next was Tambling with 69 in50s (15.16) and Newman with 66 (16.13).

10. Who were the four guys that had only the one kickin each?
Hyde, Pattison, Polo and Tambling.

There were a few very good entries but I've determined that bravetiger was the best of the lot (please PM me an address).

Thanks for allowing me to do this. It's the first time I've put something like this together and it was fun. maybe I'll do another one or two like this during the year.

Thanks for running the quiz Fudge and thanks for generously donating the prize. For all those who don't have it yet the AFL prospectus makes very interesting reading and is a wonderful reference to check things on.

Congratulations braqvetiger. Well done. :)

If Richmond can fill the holes that will be left by the impending retirements of Richardson and Brown, they could well be reliving the glories of the late 1960's and early 1970's in the next few years. After developing a strong midfield and defensive group in recent seasons, the Tigers will be keen to bolster their forward stocks quickly to not miss out on the opportunity that may present itself.

Love the book, will definatly win my Dream Team comp now, even with a 7 week break in Europe!
