Sadly it seems internal bickering and abuse has brought about the demise of the unofficial Carlton forum "The Blue View".
A few years ago fromtheouter met the same end. Apparently last year the Pies other site, Nick's Bulletin Board, also came close to closing last year but the adminstrator handed it over to others to keep alive.
It's a real shame to see these sites fall by the wayside after the massive amount of work that's put into establishing them.
Unofficial forums are a great source of revenue to the clubs through things like directing traffic to the official sites, sponsorship, membership drives etc.
All the best to Dom and deepest sympathy about the situation. I don't know the full story but it must be shattering to pull the pin.
Seeing this happen makes me really appreciate the support PRE gets. There have been some bitter PRE-bashing campaigns on other sites over the past few months and thankfully people have seen through the untruths and agendas and it's only served to make us stronger.
