I concur with everything Jack has said. I live in the same country as Jack, and have over the years watched the product quality to the USA dwindle to an abismyl level. It originally was on ESPN, available to to cable subscribers, then it went to Fox Sports World only available to sports premium cable subscribers.

Now, the only option to watch a game on a real TV is through Setanta, available ONLY on a satellite TV provider owned by News Corp. (Murdoch). No one in this country apart from pubs and farmers selects satelite, because the cable quality is that much better. Besides which, if you live in built up areas like where I live, and like most people living in a Condo, I am not allowed to install a dish!

BTW The broadband access through afl.com.au is pathetic - I wrote a letter to Andy, obviously not going to get a response or even for his to read. He doesn't give a sh!t about me, he more concerned with hiding the illicit drug problem in the game that he manages.

You cand download the torrent of it NYT.The're ussually available immediately after the game.Always good quality.No ads.

Pathetic reaction from the AFL. There's so many football matters that they administer poorly (e.g. food prices at any AFL venue, free to air tv coverage, tribunal, inconsistency in application of penalties especially in Kerr/Cousins cases, draw bias, umpiring, rules changes) and this is yet another case of Big Brother overeacting.

What a joke. The AFL is a very poor sports administration organisation. They have taken the peoples game away from the people. Men and women in suits paid massive amounts of money, with no common sense at all.

They (the AFL) should be tickled pink that there are sites like this to promote our game - albeit, the Richmond cause - instead of acting like schoolyard bullies.

God knows there is plenty to occupy their time without worrying about what PREnders are up to - the mess the rules are in at present would be a good starting point.

Then there is the drug problem, and the unfair draw, and will there be a 4th field umpire, and what position to give Sheedy.

From what I've seen over the last 19 years from afar , your interest should be focused on keeping the "Great Game of Australian Rules Football" just that..................."Australian Rules Football" because from the product I've had the "Luxury"of seeing a FEW times in the last couple of years, the Game resembles nothing to the one I grew up playing and loving.

They have taken the peoples game away from the people.

The AFL made a statement recently that the game is to be known as "Australian Football" and that it has never officially carried the name "Australian Rules Football".

You're never going to get clarification now that you have removed the videos, they have got what they desired so they don't need to bother spending any time answering your questions. Had you left everything up then maybe they would have done so.

It is basically outside their jurisdiction and would be very expensive to prosecute. They would almost certainly prefer it were not on youtube either, but will be very hesitant to pick on a big guy, but are more than happy to pick on a smaller fan-site.
