I feel like we've just received a free 1st round draft pick

From what im led to believe Kreuzers condition is a bony lump that rubs on his cartledge causing pain and inflammation requiring removal of the bony tag whereas Meyer has lost most of his cartledge which will end his career prematurely if the case.

Someone may elaborate if they know the extent of Dannys surgery.

Kreuzers issue is void as he has no worries once removed, Danny on the other hand........................

That draft looks a bit more miss than hit right now especially when you throw in Limbach and McGuane and the fact Lids and Bling were apparrant shoe ins for top 4 so those 2 dont count - and i wont even mention another miss from that draft :hihi .

The one major thing Meyer has going for him is the one the the RFC lacks.......good foot skills. I really hope he does make a showing this year.

I'm happy to hang on to Raines until GC17 come shopping and Andrew may find his way home to the Gold Coast :don't know

Would like to see Raines continue his defensive midfield role that he was playing prior to getting injured before any definite decisions are made on his future.

Not a huge sample to make any definite views on, but he didn't seem to get caught as much and showed signs of having lateral movement, also won some contested footy in packs.

Still, no matter where he plays on the ground the one thing he has to do is hit targets, if he can't then he's gonna struggle.

Craig, assuming your correct about Danny injury what would have the surgery done? Bought him a bit of time? Relived some of the pain?

theres only 1 spot in a side for a player that cant hit targets by foot - thats defensive mid
we have johnson performing that role atm
if your tall and you cant hit targets you will get carried in the back half if your medium your gonna struggle
raines is in trouble IMO unless he can hang on until johnson retires

Meyer is no longer on the injury list, and apparently is participating in full training. However he has not been selected for Coburg seniors (I can't find the reserves squad).
