Raines!!! (merged)

Geoff said he left for 2 reasons; Maurice Rioli and money, he sounded like he now thinks he should have stayed.
On Andrew I love that TW has told him to go for it. He'll make the odd mistake, but he gets it right far more than he gets it wrong.
Rex calls him flooding; flooding raines.

He needs a proper nick name though..

S.o. P.  (Son of Pretty-boy)... or Elvis (its the way he moves his hips)... or something....

If we're going to think up a nick name lets try to think of one that doesn't mention his father. I reckon he's a player in his own right. His father was good but so is Rainsey Jnr. His father also left so lets not tempt fate!  :)

How about Freud? No, not that James Freud but James Freud from the 80s group Models. If you do remember you may spot the uncanny resemblence to JF. I can't look at him without thinking of this resemblence.

Sorry Ant, yes I did mean Siggy. Siggy, James..very similar. ;)

OK for some reason my picture of Wolverine isn't showing up, so I've decided to change this post.

Sorry for any confusion.

Raines got his first touch up of the year on Saturday.

G.Ablett is probably the most creative small forward/midfielder (in that order before you start jumping up and down) going around right now so it is no disgrace for Andy, might even do him some good. Just keep the old ego in check.

But that is what we want, on the job lessons for the youngsters and Raines got one on Saturday. The fact that we can win a game and have players learn lessons is a bonus.

Oh yeah. SOG has built up some credit in the bank and I reckon he could be the man to give THE PRIMARY PRODUCER a bath this week at Subiaco.

I reckon we are a great chance this week against the Dodgers.

Credit in the bank yes, but he got pantsed by one of the best in the business.

Doesn't mean I wouldn't give him first crack at the best small forwards this week and yes he will get Farmer.

A good test this week to see how he responds against another quality small in foreign territory.

Agree again Scooper.
But I'm not sure Rainsey had him all day. I think GAjnr had a couple of opponents.
Still our youngster will learn from the experience. :thumbsup
