Rance - any news on him?

Apparently has 3 fractures. Having the plates put in today and should only miss a month.
Great news westy. Rance is a shining light in defence and something we can really build around.

I though his attack on the ball was brave but coached right he would have been much lower to the ground and the head collsion would not have occured. Just clumsy from two brave players not willing t give an inch.

I know you will agree TF the worst part of this is that it didn't inspire his team mates to go up another level and take this game by the throat!

I really sont think u can blame the players Westy.

With the game plan they were using it was hopeless.

I really think the guys did lift but what was the point when u get possession r dashing forward (aka Lids a few times) and then forced to turn in a big arc and look sideways or backwards. Blame Terry and his co-coaches not the players who were trying to dig deep for their mate.

An article on the RFC site (which I've just posted on the juornos board) says it's been downgraded to 2-3 weeks.

Not forgetting the rough handlingof Polo by a couple of Lions players, no one came in to support him. No support of each other.

That can be easily fixed with a hard coach.....the list on the other hand is a tad harder to fix

Murray Rance was on SEN just before and he's still in hospital, has got out of surgery and had 2 plates in his face. WIll need to see a neurosurgeon during the week to handle the concussion but all in all things should be OK. Probably out for at least 3 weeks.

I still can't believe Richo suffered a similar cheekbone injury... before playing the very next week in a near BOG performance throwing his body in packs.

I'll be happy if Rance is back within 3.

That ain't going to help his looks any. Very glad to hear he is ok.

Anyone who says footy still isn't a tough game only has to look at that replay.

Both boys should be commended for their guts. Takes courage to put your head over the footy like that.
