PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

Really excited (and it's a shame it stands out so much) with this kid's 1%ers. It's pretty much the basics, but great to see.

The 30m sprint to spoil an otherwise easy mark for the opposition and create a throw in / ball up.

The 15 m run to lay a shepherd to free a team mate up (beautiful one last weekend against Melbourne that freed up Bowden for a run down the Southern wing I think leading to a goal)

The tackling technique which has been pretty good for his intensity at the man - doing a good job rolling his man and not getting into the back when his man sprawls.

The attempts to smother.

Going when it's his turn to go.

Spoiling when behind.

Hopefully this can become infectious and get the other guys doing similar. I am worried that the prevailing strain, however, is more virulent.

I'm sure others will be concerned with his skills but he certainly is no Gaspar/Kellaway/King.

Where do others think Rance can go to?
