Brisbane win for me. We were down all game then brilliance in the final quarter and all the tigers fans down on the ground after the game it was amazing
Agree, was on the ground after the game.Great night.

Equal first:

1. Port Adelaide= Amazing game. We were down and out midway through the 2nd quarter, trailing by 28 points, and then, bang, bang, bang, bang and bang again, and before you know it, we were in front. Avalanche of goals to us and a big win.

1. Hawthorn= Round 21. Again, I thought we were gone, trailing by 41 points twice! The way we came back and snatched victory from defeat was unreal. Equal sweetest win of the year, against the team I most despise, Hawthorn.

2. Carlton= 85 point hammering in front of a bumper crowd on a perfect May afternoon. Ahhhh, magnificent.

The Port game by a mile.

I remember watching this on Fox and running to my pc to post comments and the excitement online and on the telly as we came back and then murdered them was the most thrilling tiger win in years.

Go Richo!!!

My favourite game was not strictly speaking a game but a period that was the same length as a game.  From 10 before half-time against port adelaide to 10 minutes before half time against carlton the next week:  27 goals to 3!

The mighty Tigers hadn't dominated like this for 20 years!

Only reason I dont rate Carlton game is they were getting thumped every week anyway, and in all my time, even the lows of the Tigers I'd never ever seen a team play so poorly as Carlton, especially in the 1st half.   Was good to have a Carlton supporter beside me, and the game over at half time however.  You lap it up when you can.

Cheers
At the time when we rolled them Carlton weren't travelling well, but they weren't getting thumped week in week out. They'd come frome behind to beat Hawthorn the week before and before that had played Port to a draw in Adelaide. The game against us was the start of the real rot.

I'd seen a few of Carlton's games and they were struggling big time. In the first weeks before they played the Tigers, they had played North, Essendon, Collingwood, Port, Freo & Hawthorn, 3 of the 4 other bottom teams, include Richmond and it was 4 out of 5 bottom teams in first 7 weeks and only 1 finalist who is out of the finals after the first week. If they had played the better teams earlier on they would have got thumped. As I say, for this reason, I didnt rate the win so highly, I get much more satisfaction out of a game where maybe you arent expected to win and play brilliantly to win convincingly.

Cheers

1. Brisbane - Was the only game I got to all year and I also won some dollars on it. We kicked the first goal, but then Brissie got ahead and stayed ahead until we kicked the last goal of the match... BRILLIANT!

The Gabba was roaring with Tiger fans, although you couldnt tell that on the TV, but there were Tiger fans outnumbering Bears in all the surrounding pubs before the game.

And on the way home to the Goldie on the train, Tiger supporters outnumbered Bears supporters 10-1 and there was such a great vibe happening. 7 and 2 and we thought we were back..lol. Reminded me of coming home on a train after a great MCG win, the fact it was in Brissie was very special.
.......
Concur, and it was a game where we refused to let them intimidate us and gain the mental edge that has seen us crumble in recent years.

It came off only a 6 day break from our previous game where Brisbane had an extra day to prepare than us, and we were still a pretty ordinary travelling side.

And of course, working in the rooms all that night and being able to contribute to the effort (in a tiny way) made it personally even more enjoyable...... :D

I actually saw you when I went on the ground after the game for a kick and you looked at me as if I know that person from somewhere.

You wouldnt remember me but I was a cheer squad member for a while in the mid 80's when I was a kid. We had this 3 second stare thing happen and then i think I got hit in the back of the head by a footy and fell over (I was very drunk). :p

Richmond vs Essendon

Won 10 bucks of me mate. Woohooo!

I cop so much sh!t of me mates about richmond, and especially Richo, everyone seems to hate him (I cant understand why ???), so it was great to finally get back at em.

The reason people hate Richo is because he can win games, you tend to find opposition supporters hate the players they want in their sides the most.

yeah yeah, true, but it still astounds me how so many people can hate him. Not like the other power forwards in the comp, maybe its cos of his attitude problems in the past

if richmond didnt lose to eagles by 2pts they would have been 2nd after that

didnt see many, my fav was brisbane

I dunno, I reckon Lloyd would up there on most non Bombers hate meters.

The Round 21 match against Hawthorn was also my girlfriend's birthday. I actually asked her midway through the second quarter if she wanted to leave, fearing the huge loss would ruin her day. But we stuck it out, and as the boys came back I was silently wishing they'd do it for her. Then not so silently in the last quarter. When Pettifer kicked the winning goal I roared so loud I scared the three Hawks supporters next to me away. The first time I've ever been 'Richo-emotional'. A great day.

1. Port Puffs game, was sooo down at one stage and had a know-all Puff bloke behind us who continually gave us all a running commentary, at half time he was on his phone telling the unfortunate on the other end how Williams was going to move players to win. Half way through the last quarter he was gone :hihi :hihi :hihi

2. Hawthorn- both games, the first because it was the end of an horrific losing streak, Round 22 because I hadn't given up and knew we could do it and we did!!!

3. C'wood. Was stuck in a small town on NZ's Sth Island, freezing cold, foggy and feeling a smidge homesick. Getting sms messages with the scores whilst eating a v v nice steak with Pinot Noir. When we won everyone in the restaurant cheered and rang me so I could sing THE song (it's my mobile ringtone).

4. Essendon. After falling over in the station carpark (nasssty bruises and a few cuts), I was wet before I discovered that our seats were in the open.... bought some ponchos for cover.... but didn't feel the cold, rain or bruises after quarter time. Thanks Tiges :clap :clap

But I really really really really really want to beat St Kilda please Tiges, have a v v nice cab sav saved up for that win.

For me the Port game is still way out in front. I remember sitting there in the 2nd quarter thinking: what has really changed? We're no better than last year when we come up against determined opposition with a bit of class. Here we bloody go again! Then it all turned around, the crowd started roaring and when Richo took that mark and goaled just before half time to put us up. OMG! That's one of the moments you go to the footy for! To go on with it and absolutely pummel them was the icing on the cake.
The 2nd game was the Essendon one, not because it was a great game against great opposition (although it's always nice to beat Essendon), but because I was able to go to the hospital to see my Dad (who died a few days afterwards) and tell him that Richmond beat Essendon and put a smile on his face even though he was seriously ill and knew that he didn't have a lot of time left.
They were my 2 favourite ones, but on the wish list for next year is Geelong. I want to hear those Cat supporters squeal. I want to see Mark Thompson have a good sulk and I especially want to see us show Ottens that he made a mistake.

Hating Essendon with passion- What a great tiger supporter. :clap
