Polo – great defensive side to his game – seasoned veteran in this regard.  Magnificent hands – probably the best on our list.  Never fumbles.  Very composed and good vision.  Deceptively quick over first few yards and massive motor.  Very good stopper and this is where his future lies.  Very good at stopping players and at stoppages.  Query – very low hurt factor as his kicking is non-penetrative.  Kicking reliable though as he seems to only chip and loop them and finds a target.  Also needs to get more urgent if he wants to hurt more – tends to stop and prop too much.  Needs to learn to burst and play on more.

Harry I agree with what you say about kicking, but overall his hurt factor is still high IMO as he runs to dangerous spots, always uses the corridor. Very smart footballer!

Liked the thread but except for a fleeting mention in one post no-one has spoken at all about Moore.

True he has been injured almost all year but given he is bandied about as being on the edge of delisting all your views would be very interesting to me.

For mine I would prefer to keep Moore over a Harts (who I think is overrated by some fans - decision making and poise are very difficult to train into a player compare Raines and Hartigan for instance both take on players consistently but one turns it over and the other seems to have the knack of getting out of the trouble he creates for himself) and Roach (currently low small on the pole) precisely because we seem to have a number of smaller to medium types coming through and vyeing for fringe HB flank positions. What we don't have are a number of fast tall defenders coming through and Moore fits into this category and has a lot of speed.

my issue wit moore is that he just isnt a KPP and just isnt a flanker

he isnt great in area are, not quick, not strong, not great footskills

so he falls between the cracks, like so many before him - a bit like archibald
