Ray Hall threads [Merged]

Re: Rayzor

Shame his career was destroyed by injury. Has missed pretty much every second season since we recruited him. Hurt his development as well as his on field performance.

One of the few hard men on the list. Maybe we should rookie a couple to replace him.

Rayzor has undergone hip surgery and Richmond won't guarentee his future according to 7 news. GM said everyone will be reviewed at end of season but we've got a lot of young players coming through.

Sounds very much like thanks for the memories Ray.

What memories????

GAWN.

I really like Rayzor and think his versatility made him pay a price for our list inadequacies. He was used to plug holes rather than have a chance to settle into a regular position. He gave 100% and was hard and tough. Something I'd like to see in every player who runs out in the yellow and black.

Re: Rayzor

If he does get stuck on 99 games I hope he doesnt have a son who turns out to be a gun!

Re: Rayzor

I have a few memories of Rayzor, but one that really sticks out was him giving it to Carlton in 2001 semi final. His aggression was a telling factor in that win and although he got suspended for it I also loved seeing him *smile* slap Cameron Clampett a few years back.

Re: Rayzor

he is a poor-man's Ben Holland. Dutchy was great for us, Ray did a few good things in his 99 games, but was always going to struggle to hold down a position in the seniors anyway.

Saw Ray Hall at the Red Hill Estate Winery (2pm) yesterday with his partner, she was driving.

He would have been cutting it fine to get to the ground on time, if he did go to the game that is! We missed the first couple of goals and we left not long after seeing him there. Didn't get a chance to speak to him, as he was leaving as we just arrived.
