Hall injured/finished............................... merge with '2007 positives' thread???
No,we've had to pay him for doing nothing. No positive there.

MASSIVE positive, he probably has a better convert/clanger ratio on the bench than on the ground. Also probably costs us few goals against there :rofl

and what happened?

What happened, we kept him Sydney was interested for a trade & we wasted another oppotunity like Holland who we should have traded a year earlier than we did.

This one we missed the boat completely... (Someone was drinkin' a MILLERs beer & stuffed up ! )

I still cry when I think me missed those two trades :'(

yeah totally agree Mr Bundy.

The club should make a stance and if a player doesnt want to be at the club, get rid of them and get the best offer for them. Free up space on the list for those proud enough to wear the yellow and black and give their all.

Why should the club pay big money to players not will to give 100% ?

nwonash, one thing about Ray was the fact that he DID give 100% when he played for us. Not as highly skilled as other players but he certainly put in. I especially like his gentle tap on the middle cloke's beak, which sent him crying like a baby to the bench. The pity of it was it cost Ray a 1 match suspension & leaves him on 99 games for the Tiges.

I'll give you that TT, the bugger did give it a go

What would our players think after reading this thread? Absolute contempt for the sacrifices players make from just about everyone here. Disgraceful

Degenerative hip thingy I'm led to believe.Consider him retired.

Justin Charles. Phil Matera. It's the end of the line. Courtney Johns anyone?

I'll miss Rayzor. FWIW I think his career was stymied by injury from the get go. He was a NSW boy who lost two of his first three years at the club to injury. Vital development time.

Carried the hip among other things for the last two seasons and although he made some skill errors he played like a man. Some people think you should have a few of those in your football team.

If you want to cry over a missed trade then all those pale in comparison in the Nick Daffy one.

The trade was effectively done in 2000. Daffy to Hawthorn for a Rd 2 pick and M Graham I think. Then on the way to sign the deal Spud the dud changes his mind.

Instead we have to trade him the following year and to clear his massive contract give up our pick 17 in the superdraft in return for Stafford. Pick 17 was James Kelly.

All those pointing the finger at Miller should redirect it to Brayshaw and Frawley. They oversaw the worst period of trading and contracting in our history.

Spud strikes again!

Sheedy played Rioli crippled just to make sure he got 100 games up on the off chance that the father-son rule is still operating in about 20 yrs time.

My exact sentiments

They don't want to be there, then open the dorr & get rid of them at any costs. Forget holding onto them

Woah Magic I wasn't aware of that one missed.... DOH !

I believe we should as well no matter what the cost to the team is, you just don't know. Not sure if any rookie is affected

whoa there lets not get to carried away. miller was brought to the club so we wouldnt make those sort of mistakes the 02 03 debacles were just as bad as anything done in spuds time.

i reckon the worst case of frawleyitis was 01 when we could have got johnson in a swap for holland. spud gets cold feet at the eleventh hour and pulls out. we all know what johnson cost us the following yr. the sad thing about holland was when miller finally got rid of him in 03 for pick 21 miller wasted pick 21 on a kid who never played a senior game in gilmore. ::) miller beck and frawley the 3 stooges had nothing on them.
