When I say he is slow running, I mean, as soon as he gets the ball and starts to move, his mind is ticking over what to do with it, which is having a negative influence on using his natural speed. He was caught in at least two tackles taking guys on yesterday, which at that level - really isn't great.

I wish him well, and hope he comes good, but like I said, I was only commenting on yesterday game.

fair enough that i agree, ive noticed that too, plus it takes to long from ball to boot needs to eradicate this from his game ASAP.

Isnt the 12/10 rule only when playing no aligned teams?

Carlton fielded 13 for the Bullants.

On Collard, interesting that he is in Coburg twos, I see Pfeiffer is playing for Carlton ones - wasn't he the other option?

If the RFC senior side went as hard as the Coburg boys each week, then despite their colossal weaknesses, they could probably eke out 2-3 extra wins.

Playing wise, the Coburg Tigers are the North Melbourne of the VFL.

It's not just the hardness Red. Coburg have many hard at it, neat, inside players who know how to win effective clearances. Carnell, Shelton, Caruso 1, Caruso 2, Horne, Liddle (sp? he was very impressive yesterday). Add Neville from last year and Gazzo who didn't play and you had/have a good core of hard at it players who can win their own ball and use it effectively. This is what got them to the VFL final last year becasue in hindsight they had no damaging talls.

We could do with Carnell and Shelton in the Richmond team.

dont know about shelton harry, seems to turn over the ball quite excessively, we have enough of those dont we?

I didn't mind Cartledges game to be honest.Probably wasn't a bad get as a rookie.

He'd be the bloke I'd promote if we have another injury.

Watching JON is just depressing.

Best game I've ever seen White play.

Morton has to get a call up surely. We're not exactly over endowed with multi goal kicking smalls.

A real good bunch of Goers, not sure if any of the Burger boys are up to AFL but they set a fine example to the kids
