Rd 2 changes

Bizarre selections I reckon.

As hard to tip as round 1 games.

Very bizarre. I reckon it's either mind games with a late change bringing Balta in and (an underdone) George out, or we just play like ants by running them off their feet which is the best way to beat the giant daddy long legs.

Whats the weather report for tomorrow night - perhaps we are looking to run them raggard and kell em in the last??

All dry, no humidity so no slippery ball like last week, no excuses. No fumbles Tiges!!!

Running them ragged could be the other tactic. I wanna see Daddy Long Legs huffing and puffing more often until he collapses.

Not really.
Both teams have gone and selected 1 ruck and two key forwards and two key backs
The rest are runners

Nankervis v Grundy
Lynch v Moore
Riewoldt v Roughead
Grimes v mihocek
Astbury v Cox

This is more like it. Anger at the selectors. Haven’t had this for a while.

But in all seriousness I like the in’s.

We were too heavy last week. Lacked runners. The conplete opposite to what we have done the last two years.

Our strength is our running and manic pressure. Chaos. Unpredictable.

Its back. And I like it.

Davo....please, please, please....just do it! Don't stumble and fumble, don't drop your head, just stick to this imposter and win the ball.

Can someone take out Greenwood ?.
Need to set him up in the backline and let the Grub find the opportunity to mask a contest. That hit on Himmelberg in the Prelim in 2017 still sticks in my mind. Hard as but fair. Love the Grub!

Would prefer he get folded in half by a Townser special

Balta in for Ellis wouldn't change any of that.

Astbury v Cox
Broad v Mihocek
Grimes v De Goey
Markov v Stephenson
Short v Elliott
Vlastuin v Thomas

Roughead v Lynch
Moore v Riewoldt
Howe v Higgins
Langdon v Castagna
Crisp v Butler
Maynard v Rioli

Nankervis v Grundy
Edwards v Treloar
Greenwood v Martin
Prestia v Beams
Cotchin v Pendlebury
Lambert v Sidebottom

Bench: Phillips, Mayne, Aish, Varcoe
McIntosh, Graham, Ellis, Weller

I had to read it 3 times to believe Figgy actually stating that we're not number 1 in creating turnovers anymore, all because his team is.

Keep bloating that head Figgy.

Sorry. Ellis can run all day. Balta could have blown out a fire he was gasping that much by 3/4 time.

Balta played 50% game time to chop out Nank. Who is going to do that? Ellis to chug along all day but is not overly quick.
